About us
Who we are
Crypto Wealth Group (CWG) was founded by Matthew and Maharani Machmud to help long-term investors, families and businesses understand digital assets and the changing financial system before they own any. At the heart of what we teach is a simple idea: your wealth is stored economic energy, the value of your time, effort and skill. Understanding what quietly erodes it is the first step to protecting it.
We start with security: how to hold digital assets safely. From there we cover the psychology of money, custody and the disciplined habits that long-term investing needs, and we encourage calm, evidence-based decisions.
We teach; we don't manage anyone's money, pick investments or promote assets, and we never promise outcomes. Everything here is general education, so you can make your own decisions, or take what you learn to a licensed adviser.
Matthew and Maharani also founded the Amanah Freedom Fund (opens in a new tab), which works to give at-risk women and children in Indonesia a safe place to call home.
Start with how money works
Money has changed shape many times. Knowing why each kind held its value, or lost it, makes digital assets easier to judge.
Early historyShells and beads worked as money while they were hard to come by, and stopped working once they weren't.
