Arabic & Indonesian

Amanah · ah-MAH-nah

Trust. Responsibility. Sacred stewardship. The belief that what you have been given (your wealth, your time, your influence) is not truly yours to keep. It is held in trust, with a duty to use it for the good of others.

It comes from the Arabic root al-amn: feeling secure from harm and from having your rights violated. That security is what we want for every at-risk woman and child in our care.

“In Indonesian culture, Amanah is one of the highest values a person can embody: honouring the weight of what you have been entrusted with.”

Our story

Born from Gratitude.
Driven by Purpose.

Matthew and Maharani Machmud, founders of Crypto Wealth Group
Matthew and Maharani Machmud

Matthew and Maharani Machmud didn't set out to build a charity. They set out to build a business, one rooted in education, integrity and the belief that financial freedom should be accessible to everyone.

But Maharani's roots run deep in Indonesia. Her family is there. Her childhood memories are there. And so is the stark reality she witnessed growing up: women and children without safe homes, without consistent meals, without the basic security that so many of us take for granted.

As CWG grows, Matthew and Maharani find themselves in a position of genuine good fortune, and the question is impossible to ignore: “We are being given so much, and there are women and children in Indonesia who have nothing. What are we going to do about it?”

The Amanah Freedom Fund is our answer: a personal mission to give 500 at-risk women and children a safe place to call home.

“We have family in Indonesia. We've seen what it looks like when a woman has nowhere to turn, when a child has no safe place to sleep. We've also seen what it looks like when they do, and the difference is everything.”

Matthew & Maharani Machmud, Founders of CWG

Why we serve both women and children together

A mother without a safe home means a child without a safe home. The Amanah Freedom Fund addresses both simultaneously, because true al-amn must extend to the whole family.

The faces behind the fund

Who this is for

  • A mother in Indonesia with her two young children

At-risk women and children in Indonesia: the faces the Amanah Freedom Fund exists for.

  • Two young girls in Indonesia smiling on a bench

A safe home, food and schooling give children like these the chance to just be children.

How to give

Be part of the Amanah Freedom Fund

Choose what feels right. You don't have to give a lot: every gift is an act of Amanah.

Giving opens Stripe's secure checkout, where you can pay by card or any other way it shows, including straight from your bank account where offered. Your card and bank details go only to Stripe, never to us.

Monthly gifts come out on the same day each month. To change or stop one at any time, email cryptowealthgroup@proton.me and we'll stop it straight away.

Please note: the Amanah Freedom Fund is not yet a registered charity, so gifts are not tax-deductible. We'll update this page if that changes.

Can't give right now? Share instead.

Every share puts this mission in front of someone who might be ready to help. One post could fund a child's entire year. Every share brings us closer to 500 women and children with a safe home.

A note from the CWG team & the women and children you've helped

With deep gratitude, to every person who has given, shared, or simply cared.

If you have given to the Amanah Freedom Fund, whether through a donation or simply by sharing this page, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

“We didn't know your name. We didn't know you were coming. But you showed up, and because of that, we have a safe place to sleep tonight.”

The women and children of the Amanah Freedom Fund

This fund was built on a single idea: that the good fortune in our lives is not ours to hoard; it is ours to steward. 500 women and children is a commitment. One we believe we can reach together.

You don't have to give a lot. You just have to give something. Every contribution, no matter the size, is an act of Amanah.

With love and gratitude,

Maharani, Matthew and the entire CWG Team
